8. Issuance of invoice

After delivery and payment of the ordered items, The Base Label will also send the buyer an invoice in pdf format to the buyer's email address. The invoice will detail the price and all costs related to the purchase. The buyer is obliged to check the accuracy of the information before placing the order.

9. Discount code

A discount code or promotional code brings various benefits when purchasing through the The Base Label online store. You can find the active code on the cover page of the advertising message, in an email from The Base Label or in other media. The code brings various benefits, from various gifts to discounts. Any code is always time-limited and must be used within a limited specified period, otherwise it is invalid.

Using the discount code:

• Select the products you want to purchase and add them to your cart.
• At the checkout, enter the discount code in the "promotional code" box and click the "confirm" button.
• Only one discount code can be used per purchase.
• When you enter a discount code, the value of the discount code is automatically deducted from the price of your order, leaving the remaining amount that needs to be paid.

10. Purchase process

1. Product selection: On the website www.thebaselabel.com, select the product and click on the "Add to cart" link. The system will notify you that the product has been successfully added to the cart. If you want to continue shopping, click on the left link "Continue shopping" and you will return to the online store. If you want to complete your purchase, click on the right link "Complete purchase" and the system will take you to the shopping cart.
2. Removing a product from the shopping cart: On the website www.thebaselabel.com, in the upper right corner, there is a shopping cart icon, in which (after clicking on the icon) the user is shown the products that they added to the shopping cart while browsing the online store. If the user wants to remove a specific product from the shopping cart, they must click on the cart icon and the "remove" cross. If the user wants to add a specific product to the cart, they must click on the "Continue shopping" link. By clicking on the aforementioned link, they return to the online store.
3. Shopping Cart: You must fill in the required fields to complete your order.
4. Delivery address: You must provide the required contact information marked with a red asterisk (name, surname, e-mail address, address, city, postal code and phone number), which we need to confirm and complete the order and deliver the product.

The form allows a user account to be created and the user's data is already saved for the next order.

1. Shipping cost: As stated in the shipping price list.
2. Payment method: You can choose from four payment methods: Cash on delivery, payment by invoice, Paypal payment, payment by debit/credit card.
3. Coupons and gift cards: If the user has a valid discount coupon or gift card, enter it in the appropriate field and click the confirm button.
4. Order overview: Displays the products that the user added to the shopping cart while browsing the online store. The product price, shipping cost, and total payment cost are visible in the shopping cart before the order is completed.
5. Order completion: The user can review the submitted delivery information, the payment method they have chosen and the contents of the shopping cart. The user confirms the order by clicking on the 'Submit order' button. If the order has been successfully completed, the website displays the text "Your order was successful. Thank you for your purchase! Your order number is: xxxx."

11. Purchase notification process

After placing an order, the buyer will receive an email notification that the order has been accepted. The Base Label member can always access information about the status and content of the order on the The Base Label website.

The Base Label may call the customer on their contact telephone number to verify information or to ensure the accuracy of delivery.

The purchase process for legal entities is exactly the same as for individuals, except that at the end of the purchase, you must enter the company name and company tax number. The payment options are also the same.

12. Consumer's right to withdraw from the contract

In the case of distance contracts, the consumer has the right to notify the company within 14 days to the email address ([email protected]) or through any other communication channel, he/she clearly states that he/she is withdrawing from the contract, without having to give a reason for his/her decision. The consumer must return the goods to the company no later than 14 days after the notification of withdrawal from the order. The consumer returns the goods to the following address: Alja Bitenc SP, Public Relations, Huje 3a, 4000 Kranj, Slovenia. The only cost borne by the consumer in connection with the withdrawal from the order is the direct cost of returning the goods.
The consumer must return the item to the seller undamaged and in unchanged quantity, with the label, unless the item is destroyed, damaged, lost or its quantity has decreased through no fault of the consumer.
When returning the goods, the consumer must also send the invoice for the goods and personal data, as well as the transaction account to which he wishes to receive the refund. We will make the refund within 14 days of receiving the notification of withdrawal from the contract.

When withdrawing from a contract where a promotional code or discount code was used, these funds are considered as a discount and are not returned to the user. Only the paid amount is returned to the user's bank account, and the promotional code is returned to the user in the form of a new code. When withdrawing from a contract, a gift voucher is considered as a means of payment and is returned to the user as a gift voucher.

13. Liability for factual errors

The seller is liable for material defects that existed in the goods at the time the risk passed to the buyer, regardless of whether he was aware of this or not. The seller is also liable for material defects that become apparent after the risk has passed to the buyer, if they are the result of a cause that existed before that. A minor material defect is not taken into account.

14. Security

The Base Label uses appropriate technological and organizational means to protect the transmission and storage of personal data and payments.

Secure credit card authorizations and transactions are handled by The Base Label and Paypal. Credit card authorizations are processed in real time with immediate verification of the data with the banks. Card information is not stored on The Base Label server.

15. Communication

The Base Label will contact the user via remote communication means only if the user expressly consents to this. Advertising emails and/or SMS messages will contain the following elements:

• they will be clearly and unambiguously marked as advertising messages,
• the sender will be clearly visible,
• various campaigns, promotions and other marketing techniques will be marked as such.

The conditions for participation in them will also be clearly defined:

• The method of unsubscribing from receiving advertising messages will be clearly presented,
• The Base Label will expressly respect the user's wish not to receive advertising messages.

16. Ratings, opinions and recommendations

Opinions, ratings and recommendations written by customers are part of the functionality of the online store and are intended for the community of all users.

The Base Label allows any user of the online store to write an opinion, and The Base Label reviews them before final publication. The Base Label will not publish opinions or contributions that are in any way offensive, inappropriate, or that, in The Base Label's opinion, do not provide benefits to other users and visitors.

By submitting an opinion or comment, the user expressly agrees to the terms of use of his opinion or comment and The Base Label allows the publication of part or all of the text in all electronic and other media. The Base Label has the right to use the content of the opinion or comment indefinitely and for any purpose that is in the business interest of The Base Label, including publication in advertisements or other marketing communications. The author of the opinion simultaneously declares and guarantees that he is the owner of the material and moral copyrights for the written opinions and comments and that he transfers these rights to The Base Label on a non-exclusive and unlimited basis.

17. Legal notice

The Base Label online store and all data on it, images of items, graphic and video elements on the website are protected and may not be reproduced or used without prior written permission.

18. Limitation of liability

The Base Label makes every effort to ensure that the information published on its websites is up-to-date and correct. However, product features, delivery times or prices may change so quickly that The Base Label may sometimes be unable to correct the information on the websites. In such a case, The Base Label will inform the customer of the changes and allow him to withdraw from the contract or exchange the ordered item.

19. Exclusion of liability

We reserve the right to disable the website or disable access to it due to technical or other problems and maintenance, which also means disabling or hindering the use of the online store. In the event of technical problems on the website, we reserve the right to cancel placed orders that are affected by the technical error. In the event of order cancellation, we will notify you as soon as possible and inform you of further steps. You must ensure appropriate protection of your equipment (antivirus, etc.) before accessing and using the website. The buyer must ensure appropriate security and confidentiality of the data used to log in to the website (e-mail address, password).

20. Complaints and Disputes

The Base Label complies with applicable European consumer protection legislation. The Base Label makes every effort to fulfill its obligation to establish an effective complaints handling system and to designate a person with whom the customer can contact by phone or email in case of problems.

The complaint is submitted via email address [email protected]The complaint handling process is confidential. The Base Label will acknowledge receipt of the complaint within five business days, notify the customer of how long it will take to process it, and keep them informed of the progress of the process.

The Base Label is aware that the essential characteristic of a consumer dispute, at least as far as judicial resolution is concerned, is its disproportionality between the economic value of the claim and the costs incurred in resolving the dispute itself. This is also the main obstacle to the consumer not initiating a dispute in court. Therefore, The Base Label makes every effort to resolve any disputes amicably.

In the event of judicial dispute resolution, the court of the consumer's permanent residence has jurisdiction.

21. Out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes

In accordance with legal norms, we do not recognize any provider of out-of-court consumer dispute resolution as competent to resolve a consumer dispute that a consumer could initiate in accordance with the Out-of-Court Consumer Dispute Resolution Act. The Base Label, which as a provider of goods and services enables online shopping in Slovenia, publishes an electronic link to the online consumer dispute resolution platform (SRPS) on its website.
