Merino wool sweater Penelope

The Penelope sweater is knitted from extra soft 100% Merino wool (mulesing free). It is the thinnest wool knitting we”ve ever created, so despite the fact that it is wool, it is light, not too hot and pleasant to wear. Extra fine Merino wool does not itch so it can be worn without anything underneath. The sweater has a loose fit, dropped shoulders and a ribbed collar.

Material: 100% Extra fine Merino wool (mulesing free)

Designed and manufactured in Slovenia by the family company Jakopina, which is famous for its decades of tradition. Each knitted piece is pre-washed and ready for immediate wear.

The wording mulesing free or no mulesing is adopted for all extra fine merino wool whose origin, usually Australian, has certified fact that the sheep, whose fleece has been removed, have not undergone the practice of mulesing. Mulesing is a painful procedure that involves cutting crescent-shaped flaps of skin from around a lamb’s breech and tail using sharp shears designed specifically for this purpose.

The model wears size M/L. Alja is 167cm tall.

In order to make our collection as sustainable as possible, we try to avoid stocks. For seasonal products, we hold a small stock and you get them within a week meanwhile all other products are made to order and production and shipping takes approximately 14 working days.
